Milan to Zurich, Door to Door by Private Car

When the train is not the easier option

The direct train from Milano Centrale to Zurich is fast, a little over three hours, and for one traveller with a small bag it is hard to beat. A car makes sense when it is door to door that counts: four people with luggage, a hotel on the lake, a meeting outside the city, or a connection at Zurich Airport. The drive is about 285 km through the Gotthard road tunnel and takes around four hours in normal traffic. We collect from your Milan hotel or office and drop at the Baur au Lac, The Dolder Grand, the Widder Hotel or the airport terminal. The S-Class is quiet enough for calls on the way; the V-Class carries a team with bags. Return trips can be booked for the same evening, with the same driver.
