9 days · Switzerland · Italy · starts in Zurich
A loop for guests landing in Zurich: the great Swiss resorts and the Matterhorn, then south over the Simplon to Lake Maggiore and Lake Como, and back through the Engadine. One chauffeur, one car, door to door.

Driving times are Google Maps estimates for a weekday in normal traffic. Every day can be changed: the route below is a starting point.
Day 1
Driving: about 55 min from Zurich airport, 68 km
Your chauffeur meets you at Zurich airport or your hotel in the city. A short drive to Lucerne, with the afternoon free for the old town and the lake.
Day 2
Driving: about 2 h 30 min, 137 km
West through the Bernese Oberland to Gstaad, a chalet village with a car-free main street, boutiques and walks in the surrounding valleys.
Day 3
Driving: about 2 h 35 min to Täsch, 169 km
Zermatt is car-free, so the drive ends in Täsch, where a shuttle train runs up to the village. Your driver helps with the luggage at the terminal. The Matterhorn appears as soon as you arrive.
Day 4
No driving today. The Gornergrat railway and the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable cars give the classic views; in winter, the ski area is one of the highest in the Alps. Your chauffeur waits in Täsch for the next morning.
Day 5
Driving: about 2 h 15 min from Täsch to Stresa, 120 km
Over the Simplon Pass into Italy and down to Stresa on Lake Maggiore. The Borromean Islands are a short boat ride from the waterfront.
Day 6
Driving: about 2 h, 127 km
East to Bellagio on Lake Como. Afternoon at leisure in the village or in the gardens of Villa Melzi.
Day 7
Boats to Varenna, Menaggio and Tremezzo, a lunch by the water, or a private boat for the afternoon. The car is available if you want to visit Como town or a villa on the western shore.
Day 8
Driving: about 2 h 35 min, 133 km
North into Switzerland and up to the Engadine. St. Moritz, its lake and its mountain railways for a last night in the Alps.
Day 9
Driving: about 2 h 55 min to Zurich airport, 207 km
Back to Zurich for your flight, or to your hotel in the city. If you would rather fly home from Milan, the tour can end at Malpensa instead.
For two, the Mercedes S-Class or V-Class. For families and friends with ski or golf bags, the Sprinter Luxury VIP takes up to eight passengers and all their luggage.
